Glacier Mountaineer Lodge, Golden

My stay at the resort was quite frustrating due to several issues. The lack of air conditioning in such high temperatures made the experience uncomfortable, despite the room having a great view and a cozy balcony area. While I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, the overall facilities left much to be desired, especially given the high rates. I was hoping for more amenities that cater to summer guests, but those fell short here.

Overall, I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel, primarily due to its fantastic location right at the lift area, making skiing very convenient. The suite I stayed in offered great amenities and a breathtaking mountain view. However, the service experience could have been better, especially regarding housekeeping, and there was an odd smell in the room, which detracted from the stay a bit.
